An overview of the “getting published” process with Mette Ivie Harrison

Okay, I just uploaded the interview with Mette Ivie Harrison. Link here.

Second, you should go download and share with all your friends a brilliant little book on writing created out of several years of Mette’s publicly available blog posts. Download it here:

She really does have a gift for teaching so I highly recommend you take a look at it. And once you’ve burrowed deep into the little book, should you feel so inclined may I recommend you send Mette a small payment as a token of your appreciation? AKA

FINALLY, some of you have been wondering what the plans are after the class ends. Well, I’m not entirely sure yet but I know I still have some random interviews I’d like to post. And beyond that, I’m trying to figure out a way to enable more people to contribute blog posts on the craft of writing, so that we can more easily share ideas. I’ll keep you updated. But my basic point is: Yes, I’m going to keep this site going actively even after the class is done.

That’s a wonderful resource to offer. If you can’t open the doc and get “Sorry…” the download option works just fine.

Embedded images don’t seem to show up after I download it 🙁

That was some amazingly helpful advice….somewhat depressing, but helpful nonetheless. Even though she makes clear the miniscule chance we all have of actually getting published, at the end of the interview I felt inspired to get to WORK writing, and write a ton. That inspiration by itself is invaluable. Thanks for putting this interview together!

I’m getting an error on the google doc, it does not show up in Drive. I can download it but the graphics inside are broken. There may be a permission problem on those.
